I've had the McIntosh MC152 for a couple years now. I first had it hooked up to a Marantz NR1711 with the pre-outs going to the MC152. It was always a temporary solution until I found a new pre-amp. The MC152 was a huge leap from using the internal amp of the Marantz. It had more punch, body, effortless and overall a more pleasing sound. The MC152 is mated to a pair of Cornwall IV, so 150 wpc is plenty of power for the horn-loaded speakers. I've since mated the MC152 with a C2700 with fantastic results. I'll share my experience of that with my C2700 review. I've never had any issues with the amp and would certainly recommend given 150 wps is adequate for your speakers.
