In case anyone out there is like me—searching for photos of the Citizens of Humanity Miro High Rise pants on girls who aren’t tall and model-thin—here’s my take.
First off, definitely size down. I’m 5’4”, 120 lbs, pear-shaped, and usually wear a size 26 in most major denim brands. For these, I had to go with a 25.
Second, they’re not really designed with petites in mind. I had to get the hems tailored.
And lastly, while the barrel-leg silhouette is super on-trend, I’m still getting used to it. Not necessarily a bad thing—just worth noting that the shape takes some getting used to.
That said, I really love these jeans. The cheetah print is subtle and stylish—not too loud—so they strike a nice balance between a bold pattern and something you can wear casually.
